West Oakville is bordered by Dorval Drive to Bronte Road, north of Rebecca Street and south of Speers Road. It is an established neighbourhood with the majority of the properties constructed between the 1950s and 1980s on larger lots.
Recently, there has been a lot of turn over and the neighbourhood is attracting buyers looking to build custom homes as this neighbourhood is seeing a second wave of development. Some of the older properties are being replaced by larger more modern homes.
West Oakville is home to many parks and shopping including Queen Elizabeth park and pool, and the Hopedale Mall. The 403, QEW and Bronte GO station are nearby. Oakville Transit provides public transportation throughout the neighborhood.
West Oakville is perfect for young families, or downsizers looking for affordable options in Oakville, like townhomes or post war bungalows surrounded by large trees and lots of green space.
